(English) MultiLine is a modular solution for railway catering areas, developed by MULTIRAIL to create different environments dedicated to catering service onboard trains, including kitchens, bars and restaurant areas.

The solution is designed to support various onboard catering methods, from at-seat tray service to traditional dining in the restaurant area, up to standing service typical of snack bars and cafeterias.

With the Modular Way Solution, MULTIRAIL introduces a new concept for creating the galley area as a railway kitchen, addressing one of the most widespread challenges in the arrangement of the elements comprising the system.

(English) A modular approach to railway catering

The MultiLine concept is based on a fixed width of 940 mm, identifying the main building blocks of the modular elements that compose a kitchen system for railway catering.

The main building blocks can be configured according to the various activities required within the catering area, including:

This modular approach defines a structure to organise the various elements that make up the train kitchen.
